Week One Mel

Since my camera isn't a digital SLR I can only go from F2.7-F8. But I definitely learned something this week. This plant is in Marion's backyard and it was perfect lighting.

OK, these are not my favorite and they're not that great but I think the paint chips look cool.

I loved this dandelion photo but I could not get the F8 one in focus. I just had too much camera shake. Apparently I need to work on that.

Up Next Week.....Advanced Aperture.

Shaila's Week One

This first set I didn't feel like I could tell the difference as much with the last set. Maybe I should have done F8 like they said instead of F10.

Matt thought he needed to be part of this challenge (without reading the material) so he took several pictures too. Look at what a cool shot he took. I told him I would love for him to learn photography with me, so he could do this challenge too. Looks like he might join up after finals are all said and done!
